Sunnie was another sister of Thunder and DeeDee to mature slowly but it was well wrth the wait. Under the kind tutelage of Michele Walls, she came into her own in the show ring. Then, with Jackie Fulkerson, she finished her championship with back to back major wins and in so doing made her mother, Twilight, a top producer.

She made it down to the final decision for award of merit at the 2005 GSP National Specialty, handled by Tracy Bowman. We have had heartache with Sunnie. Bred to Ch Wyndbourne Endeavor JH (Shain), she lost all of her puppies to what we believe was canine herpesvirus. This is a non-venereal virus which can go unnoticed in adult dogs, but can wreak death in unborn and just born puppies.

We decided to try again. In her second litter of 8 born October 2005, we lost all but 3. One nice boy is in a wonderful pet home. WYNSON'S HIGH NOON ( Dillon) is enjoying the good life and a show career with Gina and Wayne Helmbrecht. WYNSON'S WINGS OF THE MORNING (Wings) is now with Rick Day. After she is a champion, she will be returned to us. The quality or these 2 babies is outstanding, and we are blessed that they survived.

Sunnie in limited showing garnered a group 3 win. After her matronly duties, Gina specialed her for awhile. However, 2 pregnancies have made her a little soft underneath, and despite her good looks and wonderful movement, she is not winning. So she has come home. Brother Thunder and Sister DeeDee are both doing us proud in the Special's ring.
